http://www.chinaicann.org 这个网站假冒国际互联网信息中心的名义〔实为厦门兴万网科技有限公司http://www.xingwan.net/〕，欺诈客户，销售“中文国际域名”。
举例：捏造成都神农集团公司曾经注册了中文国际域名“成都神农.com”，通过自己虚构的查询系统显示“成都神农.com”的注册信息(http://www.chinaicann.org/showdomain.asp?Name=成都神农.com)，并要求成都神农集团公司缴纳费用〔2800元/10年〕。实际上“成都神农.com”从未注册。
这是近年来一些网络公司/个人的一种欺骗手段，目的是利用用户不熟悉互联网的情况下以恶意欺诈手段获取不法利益。还有很多不法网络公司利用中国互联网信息中心等官方机构的名义欺诈企事业单位甚至国家机关。
